Biography

ALFRED JOSEPH CASSON, O.S.A., P.R.C.A., CSPWC, CGP
(1898-1992)
Born in Toronto. Studied with J. S. Gordon at the Hamilton Techical School; with Harry Britton at the Ontario College of Art; and Central Techical School, Toronto. Became a member of the Group of Seven in 1926 and was a founder of the Canadian Group of Painters in 1933.
