Biography
Born, Dundee, Scotland 1962. Spent formative years in Dartmouth Nova Scotia, Canada. Graduated from Duncan of Jordantsone College of Art, Scotland, with Bachelor of Arts (Fine Art- Drawing and Painting) in 1989 and Post Graduate Diploma in Fine Art in 1990.
Recipient of Elizabeth Greenshields Award in both 1989 and 1991. Awarded James Guthrie Ochar Memorial prize 1989, for landscape painting.
Has exhibited widely in Scotland and Canada. Presently living in Nova Scotia. Primary mediums include egg tempera and water colour. His work focuses on the poetic interplay of subject and environment.
