Biography

Paul began painting at the age of 5 and was one of the most gifted students in his classes. Many of his elementary teachers were of great inspiration to him with their praise during his formative years.Even at an early age he excelled in art. After high school Paul took many trips to galleries in Europe where he studied the fine art of oil painting.Paul has traveled to 30 different countries each having an impact on his work. During his years living in Buffalo he not only paints the secrets of the historic city gardens, but has recently completed a painting of "St. Louis's Church" located at the corner of Main and Edward Sts. Since he moved into Buffalo, New York he has completed many works centered around his 1870s Victorian home and the gardens that surround. One focal point that enters into many of his paintings is the large lily pond in his back yard.

Born in Niagara Falls, NY, Paul has over 17 years of formal art training. He discontinued formal training, developing his own unique style.

Paul is not only an accomplished artist. His other pursuits include animal husbandry, maintaining his gardens surrounding his home which include over 1000 different varieties of plants. For over 20 years he has been playing the piano in area establishments. The arts, music, nature and the charm of the city have given this artist his most creative and productive years.
