Biography
For Sally Lincoln, drawing from life is really living.
"My figure drawings are all done from life, a real person captured in a never-to-be-repeated moment. This is the practice of artistry at its most intimate, the representation of humanity at its most unique."
"There are few things that impress me more in the presentation of a private home, whatever the financial status of its owner, than the presence of original art. Nothing more completely associates a home with its owner, nothing expresses a person's self-confidence more eloquently than sharing their vision of beauty with those who enter.
One of the things I love about the internet is that it makes the work of living artists so much more available to buyers early in their art-buying lives- something that used to be reserved for the very rich or the very well-connected can now be indulged in fearlessly by anyone with the curiosity and vision to seek it out."
